Why a disclaimer?

I used to be a lawyer and God knows how much I dislike disclaimers, but law is nevertheless a fact of life that needs to be taken into account in everything we do. As a clairvoyant, I am now governed by EU unfair commercial practices which came into force in April 2008. The UK has implemented it by passing the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2007 which prohibits conduct which misleads the average consumer and thereby causes, or is likely to cause him to take a transactional decision he would not have taken otherwise. The intent to mislead does not have to be proven.

All my services are regulated by these two pieces of legislation which obliges me to post this disclaimer to ensure that you, as a consumer, have not been exploited. This has created some dramatic effects in the area of tarot readings, clairvoyance and mediumship - which most people in my trade regret. How one can combine or submit spiritual matters to consummer laws is a bit of a mystery to me? But I nevertheless understand why laws have to be passed.

My disclaimer

All readings that I do are for entertainment purposes and no claim is made as to their accuracy. If you are vulnerable, I will invite you to refrain from engaging my services at this point and to wait until you feel stronger.

A lot of the information on this website is based on my beliefs. It is up to you to decide whether to believe me or not. This is your own responsibility.  

I cannot guarantee results for my services either although in the case of readings, I will not charge if you feel that your reading was not helpful. This is something I always mention and discuss with clients during my readings anyway.

Postage

I cannot guarantee delivery times as I rely on the Royal Mail to deliver my products. This is to keep the postage costs as low as possible. If you need your product in a specific time frame or wanted a guaranteed delivery then please contact me and we can arrange a special delivery which will be charged to you on top of the usual price (after deduction of usual posting costs if applicable).
