Some people don't realise that they have a poetic talent because they don't know what poetry is. This is very much what happens with channeling too. That's what happened to me: I had been channeling art and advice to people who came to me, for years, and never knew this is what I did until I properly trained.

What is channeling?

Channeling is what mediums do when they open up to spirit to let spirit speak through them. There is a good description of mediumship and channeling on Wikipedia. It presents the classic view on mediumship in its religious context. I think channeling is much more than that. But before I start, I have to say that each person must make up their own mind as to whether mediumship is real and whether they want to believe in it. Also read my disclaimer page. If you find disclaimers annoying please bear in mind that this is an obligation that is now legally imposed on us clairvoyants due to new European consummer laws.

I have been channeling for as long as I can remember only I never knew I did because I didn't know what channeling was. Even as a child, someone would confide to me their problems and I would "speak words of wisdom" that I knew were much wiser than I was. I remember clearly saying to myself "I am not as wise as that. Where did that come from?"And the same thing happened when I did art: I would get intensely absorbed by what I did and when I looked at the finished product I thought "I am not as good an artist as that, where did that come from?".

You could call it "divine inspiration". I find it magical. There is nothing scary about it. And when people say "but you could be channeling the devil", I know that everything I channeled is so loving and so uplifting that I can't imagine the devil ever wanting to channel that through me.  

How do I use it for my clients benefit?

I use it in everything I do and in all the services that I offer. Most of the scripts for hypnotherapy (and those for my hypnotherapy CDs) I use have been given to me by spirits. Most of my art has been channeled. It seems to be with me all the time. I don't even think of it anymore. Whenever I say words of encouragement or inspiration to someone who comes to me, I know it's channeling from my guides, angels or other highly evolved entities. It comes through in my tarot readings too.

What's the difference between channeling and mediumship?

Channeling is different from mediumship in that it is not linked to communicating with the dead (provided there is such a thing as dead people). People who channel are not dedicated to putting people on the other side in touch with their loved ones on earth. I do believe mediumship has its place and benefits and all the mediums that I know are dedicated and genuine people who do a world of good for others, despite the controversial nature of their work.

Channeling, on the other hand, has recently been used to transmit some teachings and spiritual widsom, by people like Edgar Cayce, Ester Hicks, James Van Praag, to name just a few.

I have started using my channeling capacities to help babies too and I realised that I have been communicating with my three children this way for a long time. Babies are very telepatic and they pick up on everything. Using mediumship to help the living: families particularly parents of little babies who cannot communicate yet is a real service to the community and one I would like more mediums to specialise in.

What can YOU do with it? Why di I believe that channeling should become mainstream in society?

This is the part where I talk about my vision. I believe that everyone should learn to channel to get more inspiration and make this planet a special place to live.

If you have to do a presentation, channeling will make it more inspiring and more profound. If you have to teach a course, then channeling will bring depth and a wealth of knowledge that you are not even aware of and which can benefit you and the people you teach. Artists would so much benefit from channeling in their practice. Counsellors would know exactly what to do to help their clients best. Doctors and researchers could be inspired to discover new methods of curing diseases. What if midwives and health visitors honed this skill and were able to telepatically communicate with babies? The possibilities are endless. Negotiators and politicians would also benefit from it as it would bring an ethical and humanistic dimension to what they do. Eventually, I would like to see all areas of society use this incredible magical inspirational source. Wouldn't that be a wonderful place to be?

I believe all geniuses and people with a vision who have changed this world for a better place tapped into a great pool of wisdom and creativity through channeling. The Einsteins, Da Vinci, etc have all been connected to this higher source of knowledge and wisdom through channeling. And you can do it too.
