What is clairvoyance?
Clairvoyance is the ability to see beyond the physical world. We have more than one sixth sense: soome people can see spirit, some can hear spirit, some can touch spirit, smell and even taste their presence. Clairvoyance is used as a generic for all these things although technically it should only refer to "clear sight".
All children are born with a sixth sense and they all communicate telepatically. But by the time they start speaking and later when they go to school, they lose it because their parents and educators put so much emphasis on the mind and on the intellect. Plus a lot of their insight is discarded as silliness. So most children, by the time they start school, lose this wonderful ability to see beyond our world. It is inbuild in all of them at birth, just like the ability to walk.
Part of my mission is to help parents understand and hone these skills as they are so helpful when trained properly and help us on our paths and growth. Being able to communicate with your guardian angel and your guides really makes life so much easier. You still have to learn lessons, because that's what we are here for, but you have someone you can trust totally for guidance and comfort. But also I want to help parents understand how to keep the balance so that these sensitive children don't live in a fantasy world.
Am I clairvoyant? How do I find out?
I believe that we are all clairvoyants. We are born with a psychic wiring. But not every people are runners, we don't all make use of our clairvoyance professionally. And also, as I just explained, we have been "untrained" or not trained properly. Our clairvoyance has been switched off. It doesn't take much though for us to reconnect with our intuition and our clairvoyant gifts. It does, however, take a leap of faith because working with intuition means battling your own demons and your own lack of confidence. It can all too easily be discarded as your own imagination. It takes time, practice and a lot of faith. A lot of people find it scary but the reason for this is media hype. Most depiction of clairvoyance in media, films and books is negative and spooky. My experience is that it is magic and uplifting.
Are all clairvoyants as talented?
There are as many levels of clairvoyance as there are levels of spiritual advancement. The first thing I tell people is not to put clairvoyants and mediums on a pedestal. They might have a gift but it is still up to them to use it appropriately. And they can only guide others to the levels that they are at. The more advanced spiritually, the more helpful the guidance a clairvoyant will give you. Please read my disclaimer page relating to clairvoyance and readings, as it is imposed by law.
Intent is very important in clairvoyance. Some clairvoyants just say everything they get and it might not be in the best interest of the person who comes to them. I have had to refuse to do readings for clients either because we weren't on the same wave length or because they were not ready for one. All clairvoyants have different standards of ethics.
I have dedicated my practice as a clairvoyant to God and to the highest good of my clients. This means that I don't say necessarily everything I get, especially if I believe it would not be for the highest good of my client to be told the information and that I have asked spirit to help me speak the right words so that people who come to me feel uplifted and inspired by what I tell them.
What happens if you see death in someone's cards?
This is a question that I am asked very often. As I said earlier I have dedicated my practice to the highest good of my clients. I am not here to impress them with mind games and pieces of trivia on their private lives to convince them that I am real. For the same reason, I have not had to discuss the death of a loved one or their own death because it has never cropped up.
If you dedicate your practice to the highest good of your clients, as I have, what are the circumstances where predicting a death would be of help to them? I can't think of any except the case of a person who was terminally ill and who needed to know how much time she had left to provide for her dependents, for example. These are very rare cases, as you can see.
The same goes about the very popular question of: is my husband faithful to me? My guides will only answer if it was very important for my client to know the answer. I use my own judgement in all cases.
How to choose a clairvoyant?
A lot of the clairvoyants I have been to, have been recommended to me. On the whole I have had wonderful experiences that have inspired me on my own path as a clairvoyant, but there were a couple of times when it didn't go so well despite the highest recommendations from friends. So even if someone is recommended to you, it might mot be the right person for you. You will know very quickly if this is the case: trust your intuition. If you have a bad feeling in your stomach, then take it as an indication. If you cannot find time to make the appointment, take it as a sign too.
My advise during a reading is to use your own intuition and only take in what feels good to you. If a clairvoyant says something to you that does not sit well with you, then don't follow their advice or maybe ask for another opinion from another clairvoyant. Sometimes, however, you don't like what you hear yet you know deep down that it is correct: be honest and willing to see the truth, warts and all. This doesn't mean however that you should take in something that does not fit with you. I always say to my clients as an opening statement, if the reading is not helpful then I don't want to be paid.
It takes strength to discriminate though, and a lot of people who go to clairvoyants are vulnerable. I guess that's the reason why clairvoyance is such a controversial subject and considered scary by so many people. If you feel very vulnerable, maybe it would be better for you to wait until you feel better or go with a friend.
There will always be some people who think we are frauds and we are here to rip off vulnerable people. I certainly didn't come to it for financial gain as I had an extremely lucrative job and gave up everything to be on this path. I don't know many clairvoyants who actually manage to make a living of it and many have "day jobs" to pay the bills. So on the whole, I believe that the opinion of these people is invalid and unfounded.
