Welcome to my internet presence. 

My artist name is Mosaic Dreamer, la "reveuse de mosaiques". It was given to me by spirit as a metaphor. To read more about my spiritual name and journey, click here.

I came to mosaics almost by chance. I visited San Francisco in 1997 and fell in love with the work of a mosaic artist who was a friend of a friend and it triggered my imagination. I also discovered Gaudi which enchanted me with the colours of its creations. Until then, I had not been able to use colour in my creative ventures. My life was very much a black and white picture.

Two years later, as I was visiting my sister, she presented me with the tools that I still use to this date as a present. She sat me down and said: "Let's do some mosaics". We both did a flower pot and when I finished, Helene raved about my pot. She found it amazing and told me how talented I was. I nearly laughed, but her words did the magic and encouraged me to continue to use mosaics as a medium for my creativity. I loved playing with it: it was an unpretentious, playful, relaxing past time. I did my first "real" piece in 2000, in my parents garage as I was visiting them for the summer.

Mosaics opened the tap of colours in my life and to celebrate this event, I will be publishing later on this year a book with a selection of pictures of my mosaics called "Ten years of colour in my life". I am currently exhibiting as part of the showcase exhibition at the Thornbury Town Hall and will be taking part in the Severn Vail Art Trail. You can see my work at the Thornbury Golf Club from 1st May until the 9th May. I will be there in person on the 3rd, 4th and 5th. I will be selling new pieces and postcards of my work. But this year, for the first time, I will also offer the opportunity for you to buy my work in print. This website used to be a platform for all the offerings that I have: art, hypnotherapy, reiki, EFT and tarot. I will be simplifying it over the weeks to come and as a result, you might find it difficult to access it at times. Please come back. I apologise for the inconvenience.
